Faith of the Mountain Award

The Faith of the Mountain award is presented to Young Adults (18 - 25) NAM members annually to:
a) Cultivate in Maronite Young Adults an appreciation of their Maronite faith and heritage.
b) To foster leadership in Maronite Young Adults, enabling them to accept their responsibilities in the service
of God and the Maronite Church.
c) To reward, with proper recognition, outstanding Maronite Young Adults who contribute the gifts of their time
and talent to promote the programs of their local parishes.

                      Faith of the Mountain Award for the year 2010

      

San Francisco and the Bay Area, California.  On Sunday, February 14th, 2010, Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite parish celebrated the Feast of St. Maron.
During the Divine Liturgy,  Fr. John Nahal presented the Faith of the Mountain award to Murielle Haddad.  Murielle has been a key participant and a leader in the Maronite youth ministry and is helping to launch the Maronite Youth Organization in our parish.  She is also one of the teachers in the religious education program teaching and educating the children on the Maronite faith and heritage.  She is dedicated and committed to serve the English mass and to give to the church whenever possible.  Murielle has been a role model for our Youth.
